Many of us have listen about the disease called Schizophrenia but does not have the proper knowledge about it. But today, on the occasion of World Schizophrenia Day we are going to tell you everything about how it causes, symptoms and treatment. Basically, it is a serious mental disorder in which people behave abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling.

The purpose of this day is to make people more aware of this disease. It is a mental illness which leads to the ability of people to think and understand which also affects the everyday life. Some people recover early from this disease, while some take long time. This is the reason that this disease is considered to be dangerous. According to research, due to viral infection, chances of developing one type of dementia in children are high and schizophrenia is also one of them.

Taking too much stress is also a kind of insanity, which can lead to schizophrenia.

Treatment

It is treated by psychological therapy, which usually cures for long periods of time. However, if the disease is treated at the earliest time then the problem is caught. In addition to the patient, it is also given counseling to the family members, in which they explained the ways how to take care of patients.

If a member of your family is suffering from this disease, then take care of his or her diet. They should not consume any kind of intoxicant. Also give them food which contains omega-3 fatty acids, such as soybean, spinach, strawberry, cucumber etc. Also include vitamins in the diet and also ask the patient to exercise regularly.
